Mac computers or laptops are known for their ease of use and intuitive user interface. As long as you have an AirPort card installed in your MacBook , you can easily handle any type of wireless connection. The AirPort card has the latest wireless standards. Therefore you can easily connect to any type of network.

The first step is connecting the wireless router to the network cable or signal cable. Once connected several green lights should appear on it. Then you need to find the SSID and the “standard” password that comes with the router. Afterward you need to consult the router’s documentation in order to find out how to configure the router. The SSID will mark the identification name of your network. Make sure you make your WiFi hotspot protected by a password. Or else anyone will have access to it.

If you’ve managed to properly configure your router interface, than the rest is easy. Power up your Mac Laptop, head for Application and select the Internet Connect option.

Check if you have the AirPort card activated, if not turn it on and give it a couple of seconds until it activates and discovers all the wireless networks in the area. Afterwards you need to head for the drop down menu labeled Network and select the one you’ve just created. Enter the password and click on the Connect button.
